Who can Enter

Splash 2014 is a contemporary art show featuring works by emerging and established artists including paintings, photographs and works on paper along with other specialist art items.

Information For Artists

Exhibiting Fees

A non-refundable $20 for each artwork invited to be exhibited (maximum 6 works and capped at $80) and 30% commission
on all sales.

Splash Gallery

The gallery will be located in the new school gymnasium (see photos below). Free standing display panels will showcase the works. The space has gorgeous light and is perfect for displaying high quality artworks. No direct sunlight will flow on to any art works.

Prizes

Judging will take place on Thursday 16th October and By Kate McLeod from Panopoly Gallery and Mardi NOwak, Senior Curator at the Town Hall Gallery.

The following prizes will be awarded:

$500 First Prize

$200 Childhood Theme First Prize

$100 Highly Commended Prizes (x 2)

Media and Publicity

Publicity for the show include Postcards TV Show, Art Almanac, print advertising, google and promotional brochures.

Important Information

As well as entering into our general section Artists are also encouraged to submit an entry into our "Childlike" themed section.

Specialised Theme: "Childlike"

Everyone is encouraged to enter Splash 2014. All artists can submit up to six hung works and/or 3-dimensional works. To ensure a high standard of exhibition, only invited artists will be exhibited.

To enquire about providing stock for our gallery shop which will sell unique cards, prints, small sculptural pieces & ceramics please contact Natasha via giftshop@splashart.com.au.
