Anna Blay

Born in Paris, Anna Rosner Blay emigrated with her survivor parents (saved by Oskar Schindler) to Melbourne in 1949. She has been a teacher, writer and editor, and currently works in publishing. Anna returned to her passion for art in 2011 after a long break. She was taught classical oil painting techniques by Jacques Wengrow and currently works in pastels and mixed media with Eleanor Griffiths.

Anna has exhibited and sold many works over the year. More recently she has exhibited at Box Hill Rotary, Camberwell Rotary, Mornington Art Exhibition, St Kevins and Pastel Society of Victoria where she was awarded Highly Commended for her painting ‘Cool Water’. Anna also exhibits regularly at AGRA.
