Tarli Bird is a printmaking and sculptural artist whose art practice follows and mediates her two passions in life: Printmaking and Running. Bird's printmaking practice explores pattern and colour in combination through screen-printing and the domestic process of sewing to create whimsical domestic interior designs. She currently represented by 'Signed and Numbered,' and 'Viewpoint Gallery.' Bird's sculptural practice explores her life as a Nationally ranked athletics runner who has recently represented Australia in Japan, 2013. Recent exhibitions include 'Personal Best' at Blindside Gallery Melbourne which explored the fascination in competing in Fun Runs. The exhibition included a handmade pile of 5,000 plaster stopwatches and latex running bibs. Bird's Wallpaper prints have recently been in a solo exhibition at the Shepparton Art Museum in 2013 and the Brunswick Street Gallery in March 2014
